A painting exhibition “Visualization of Social Media in Self Existence and Imagery” turns out to be a form of anxiety on the widespread social media culture. The interpretation of creation emphases on the meaning of self-existence and imagery, which cannot be separated from social media’s activities. ‘Exist’ refers to excessive human actualization in exposing identity in social media, as if everyone has opened his privacy box. Furthermore, imagery is a partner of existence in the social media attached to the effort in showing everything arrogantly to be viewed ‘good’. Frequently, existence and imagery turns into a medium of online competition requiring a person to leave their identity in the real world. There are still numerous reasons on how social media has developed an issue on the threats of compulsion. Therefore, this work is presented to raise awareness through simple and clear visual form, which grows into satire to invite the appreciator to manage social media wisely. [WE/DT/MSH/PSIK FIB]
