Ryuugaku Program 2017
This Year, three students of Japanese Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) join a study abroad program in Japan for 1 year. Those three students are:
- Henry Setiawan Tamim (Monbukagakusho Program, study in Nagoya University)
- Deni Alfarisi (U to U Program, study in Kumamoto University)
- Dini Kurniasari (U to U Program, study in Kumamoto University).
They leaved at the end of September 2017. While in Japan, the students will deepen their Japanese language, as well as get to know Japanese culture directly.
Send off Ceremony for the Students
On Friday, September 8th, 2017, the ceremony to send off those students was held. They would be leaving for Japan to study Japanese for one year. The Ceremony was attended by the Dean of FCS-UB, Prof. Ir. Ratya Anindita, MS., Ph.D and the Head of Japanese Language Education Study Program, Ulfah Sutiyarti, M.Pd. Students who wiould go to Japan are Henry Setiawan Tamim, Deni Alfarisi, and Dini Kurniasari. They left for Japan at the end of September 2017. 気をつけて、頑張って勉強して、無事に帰ってきてください。
Hospitality Event and MONKASHO Scholarship Orientation
Every year, the Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya holds a hospitality and orientation event for all MONKASHO scholarship recipients who would start out the program at the end of September and early October 2017. This year, the event was held on September 19th, 2017 at the official residence of the Japanese Consulate General in Surabaya. Therefore, the student from Japanese Language Education Study Program, Henri Setiawan Tamim also had the opportunity to attend the event.
The orientation event was held with a dialogue with alumni of MONKASHO Scholarship recipients, followed by a hospitality event with Consulate General of Japan. Good luck, and may success always be with you. [PS.PBJep/DT/MSH/PSIK FIB]
