FCS-UB Held Entrepreneurship Workshop Entitled Finding Potential Entrepreneurship
Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held An Entrepreneurship Workshop on Saturday (10/2/2018). The workshop entitled “Finding Potential Entrepreneurship by Innovative and Competitive Advanced Business Plan” was held in order to introduce the entrepreneurship world to the students of FCS-UB so that the students would be able to make their own structural and systematic business plan. It was also in line with the motto of UB as the “Entrepreneur University” expecting its graduates to not only look for a job but also be able to create a work field for others.
The workshop was divided into three sessions. The first session was started by a presentation by Yuda Adhadiyan, ST about how to cultivate dreams into an innovative and competitive business. In this lecture, the students were given the steps to establish ideas and make them come true. The second session of the workshop was a presentation by Jenifer Handayani S.S about business plan and the way to look for chances in a culinary business. The last session was the formulation of business plan and proposal for Students Entrepreneurship Program (PMW) that was assisted by Rizky Nurfiani M.Hum and Emy Sudarwati, M.Pd.
Fifty students consisting of the LKM’s representatives and students from FCS-UB followed the workshop. Moreover, the workshop was held to prepare students to participate in competition of Students Entrepreneurship Program (PMW) that will be held on February 20 – March 14, 2018. [VIA/DT/MSH/PSIK FIB]
