JLPT 2018 Period 1 (July)
On Sunday, July 1st 2018 a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) was held at the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB). The test is conducted twice in a year; those are in July and December, which has been held simultaneously around the world in the past two years. In Indonesia, JLPT 2018 period 1 (July) was held in six cities, those were Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Makassar, and Malang (precisely in UB). There are five levels in JLPT; N1, N2, N3, N4, & N5 sorted from the hardest level is N1 and the easiest is N5.
Since the registration was closed on March 27th 2018, the number of participants who participated in JLPT 2018 period 1 (in July) was 644 participants including students and participants from various regions such as Bali, Sulawesi, Papua, and others. The test was started at 9 a.m. at building A and building B of FCS UB Malang. The form of questions tested in JLPT is a matter of multiple choices including the proficiency of reading, listening, grammar, and Japanese vocabulary.
At around 1 p.m., the participants finished working, then left the test site, and awaited the results of JLPT 2018 period 1, which will be announced about a month after the test was conducted through an account obtained by each participant when registering online. Participants who pass the JLPT 2018 Period 1 result will receive certificates of Japanese-Language Proficiency around October 2018 as the evidence of their Japanese language proficiency.
