FCS UB Graduation – Periode 6
On Friday (12/14/2018), Graduation Event Period 6 Academic Year 2018-2019, was held in Room 2.6 of the building B Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB). Started at 1 p.m., Indonesia Raya was sung by all participants after the Dean and Vice Deans of FCS UB, Heads of the Departments, and Heads of Study Programs entered the room.
Hamamah, M.Pd, Ph.D, as the Vice Dean of Students Affairs, delivered the academic report. She mentioned the names of the graduates and their predicate. The number of FCS UB graduates for period 6 was 30 people.
The event was continued with a briefing by the Dean of FCS UB, Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, SE., DEA. “We are proud to have you as part of FCS UB. Of course, this makes us happy to have successfully made you graduate,” Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, SE., DEA. said to the graduates.
He also delivered several messages to the graduates, not to forget those who play an important role in the success of the graduates; to maintain the good reputation of the institution by working and behaving well because we are the members of FCS UB who are obliged to do this; to join the IKA (alumni association) because through IKA, the institution (especially FCS UB) will get input; and to introduce UB to the wider community and to invite other people to study in UB.
Next, \ the announcement and certificate handover to the best graduates, Dini Kurnia Ginasari from Japanese Language Education Study Program with GPA 3,68.
The following was Gordon collaring by the Heads of the Study Programs started from English Literature Study Program, Japanese Literature Study Program, Chinese Literature Study Program, English Language Education Study Program, Japanese Language Education Study Program, Anthropology Study Program, and Fine Arts Study Program.
The next event was the speech by the best graduates, Dini Kurnia Ginasari. “During my study at FCS UB, we learnt both academic and soft skill,” said Dini Kurnia Ginasari.
The event was closed with a prayer by Achmad Ruslan S.P. After that, the graduates got a briefing due to the university graduation techniques.
The event was ended with a sharing by Wirasti Angreni. She was a graduate from Japanese Literature Study Program FCS UB, and continued her Magister study in Doshisha University 2018. The topic of the presentation delivered were work prospects and higher education for graduates of FCS UB. (DT/MSH/PSIK FIB)
