A Lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program FCS UB as an Expert in Trans7′s “Tau Gak Sih?”
Putri Kumala Dewi, M.Pd., a lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (Diksasindo) Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) appeard on one of the segments in the ‘Tau Gak Sih’ program aired on the 9th January 2019 on Trans7. At this program, she explained the origin and meaning of the word “arung jeram“.
Putri Kumala Dewi, M.Pd. said that the filming process was in less than five minutes. “This is the second time I have appeared in the same program, so it just need one take for the video,” she said. “I feel happy because I can share the information about language to viewers throughout Indonesia,” she continued. In addition, there is still one more episode that has not been aired, which is about the meaning of the term “kelinci percobaan” and why the term exists.
She appears on the program following four other Diksasindo FCS UB lecturers who appeared on the same program. Putri Kumala Dewi, M.Pd. was contacted by the reporters and asked to be the language expert in the program with topics that had been previously notified.
Four Diksasindo FCS UB lecturers who had filmed in the ‘Tau Gak Sih’ Trans7 ‘program in previous episodes were Wahyu Widodo, M.Hum. (2016), Dany Ardhian, M.Hum. (2016), Dr. Eti Setiawati, M.Pd.
