Strategic Planning and Work Program

Faculty of Cultural Study (Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB)) University of Brawijaya Strategic Planning for 2014-2018 is to establish new study programs that is followed up by quality improvement, especially teaching quality dan research quality.
This Strategic Planning is relatively limited to 5 years and the idea of Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya to become a faculty with international standard is planned to be achieved in 15 years which consists of 5 years-period-stages as follow:

  1. Stage 1 covers improvement of lecturers’ resources and analysis of the opening of the new study programs, improvement of facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the improvement of teaching quality and research quality set by the University.
  2. Stage 2 covers continuing teaching quality and research quality improvement by putting laboratory development and International networking  into priority in the interest of improving both staff and education quality.
  3. Stage 3 covers assessment for the possibility of opening a well-established international program so that at the end of this 3rd stageit is expected that Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya will already have international study program(s).

Work Program and quality objective of Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya is translated into Strategic Planning of Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya 2014-2018 which comprises description of performance indicators as the quality objective, Dean of Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya work program for 2014-2018.

To make Vision, Mission, and Goal into reality as well as to run the work program in order to reach the quality objective, processes to meet quality standard in every stage are obeyed by doing continous improvement (PDCA = Plan, Do, Check, Act), using process-based management. It is an effort of Faculty of Cultural Study University of Brawijaya to meet (1) customer satisfaction, and (2) customer care.
