Department of Language Education FCS UB Sends Four Lecturers for Staff Mobility to Two Prestigious Universities in Malaysia

Four lecturers of the Department of Language Education, Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) carried out Staff Mobility activities at two prestigious universities in Malaysia from Sunday (10/20/2024) to Friday (10/25/2024). Dr. Eti Setiawati, M.Pd., Dr. Dany Ardhian, M.Hum., and Maulfi Syaiful Rizal, M.Pd., from the Study Programme of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, and Wiranto Aji Dewandono, M.Pd., from the Study Programme of Japanese Language Education, visited Universiti Malaya (UM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The Staff Mobility activity consisted of several series, ranging from dean meetings to discuss cooperation, guest lectures, and surveys for S-3 further studies to FGDs between lecturers from various universities to exchange ideas.

“The purpose of Staff Mobility activities is part of human resource development in the Department of Language Education FCS UB, especially development in research, teaching, and journal writing. In other words, to improve the competence of lecturers who processors from abroad directly mentor,” said Dr. Eti Setiawati, M.Pd.

The outputs produced in this activity include (1) the acquisition of IKU 3 Lecturers Activities off Campus, (2) IKU 6 Study Programmes in Collaboration with other Institutions, (3) following up on the MoU between FCS UB with UPM and UM, (4) scientific articles on joint research results, and (5) mass media publications.
