DWP FCS UB Board Develops 2025 Work Program

Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a meeting to prepare the 2025 Work Program on Monday (2/3/2025). All DWP FCS UB administrators attended this event with the aim of designing programs that will be implemented throughout 2025.

The Chairperson of DWP FCS UB, Mrs. Sri Hartini Aji Setyanto, in her speech, emphasized the important role of DWP in supporting academic and social activities in the faculty environment. She invited all administrators to actively participate in developing programs that benefit members and the wider community.

“We hope that the work program prepared this year can run well and contribute positively to the internal Faculty of Cultural Sciences and the surrounding community. Each field is expected to develop innovative and useful activity plans,” said Sri Hartini.

In this meeting, each field presented its draft work program for 2025. Some excellent programs have been designed. The Economic Division plans to provide shopping vouchers for DWP members in the framework of the DWP FCS Anniversary and the sale of exceptional food and beverage products ahead of Eid. The Socio-Cultural Division continues the Friday Blessing Program, which is carried out every month by assisting people in need, compensation for orphanages and the elderly, and the Kartini Day commemoration, which involves health seminars and social activities.

Meanwhile, the General Division plans to organize supporting tools for social and academic activities and gathering activities for DWP FCS UB members.

In addition, the meeting also discussed budget allocations to support the realization of work programs throughout the year. Most of the planned budget will be allocated for social activities, member empowerment, and strengthening academic programs in the faculty environment.

The event was closed with the hope that all programs that have been designed can run well and provide tangible benefits. The Chairperson of DWP FCS UB reminded that the success of this work program is highly dependent on the commitment and collaboration of all administrators and support from the faculty and university.

“We are optimistic that DWP FCS UB will continue to grow and become more active in various social, academic, and economic activities. Hopefully, these programs can provide wider benefits with solid cooperation,” Sri Hartini concluded.

With the completion of this meeting, DWP FCS UB is ready to carry out various work programs throughout 2025 with a spirit of togetherness and fundamental contribution to the faculty and society. [dts/PR FCS]
