Faculty of Cultural Studies Universitas Brawijaya has received an award from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Insurance) for compliance with the implementation of Law No. 24 of 2011 by registering employees in the Work Accident Insurance Program, Life Insurance, Old Age Insurance, and Pension Insurance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, as well as being disciplined in the Monthly Payment.
BPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial/The Manpower Social Security Organizing Agency) Ketenagakerjaan is a public legal entity whose job is to protect all workers through four labor social security programs, including: Wage Recipient Workers, Non-Wage Recipient Workers, Construction Services, and Indonesian Migrant Workers.
Wage Recipient Workers are people who work and receive salary, wages, or other forms of remuneration from an employer. Non-Wage Recipient Workers are people who carry out economic activities or businesses independently to obtain income from their activities or businesses. Construction Services are construction work planning consulting services, construction work implementation services and construction work supervision consulting services. Whereas, Indonesian Migrant Workers are Indonesian citizens who work and receive wages outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. (DT/MSH/PSIK FIB)
