A student of the Study Programme of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Alandra Anas Athallah managed to win two competitions in a row in four days. The achievements are the second runner-up of the National Level of Talent Show Competition at the 10th Chinese Language Day Commemoration of the Mandarin Language Center, State University of Malang (UM), and the runner-up of the National J-Pop Dance Cover Competition Bunkasai IV Padang State Polytechnic 2022.

The competition at Padang State Polytechnic was held on Saturday (3/12/2022) and it was announced on Sunday (3/13/2022). Meanwhile, the talent show competition in Mandarin Day Commemoration at UM was held on Monday (3/14/2022) and the winner was announced on Wednesday (3/16/2022).

The competition held by the Padang State Polytechnic carried the theme “fuyu no shinwa” or winter mythology. Meanwhile, the competition at UM carried the theme 我眼中的中国 or “China in My Eyes”.

Both competitions were held online. Through preparation and assessment processes such as movement compatibility, movement accuracy, and the use of appropriate music, Alandra was able to win the two competitions. [grs/dts/msh/PR FCS]
