The Anthropology Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) received a visit from the Anthropology Study Program of FCS Universitas Udayana (UNUD) on Thursday (1/30/20). This was aimed to gain knowledge from the Anthropology Study Program FCS UB in improving the quality of learning, as well as following up on the cooperative relationship between Anthropology Study Program FCS UNUD and Anthropology Study Program FCS UB.
The visiting group was welcomed in the Meeting Room, 6th floor of Building A FCS UB and the event began at 9.30 a.m. The event was opened with remarks from representatives of the Anthropology Study Program UNUD, Prof. Dr. A A. Ngr. Anom Kumbara, M.S.
“In my personal opinion, UNUD should be able to learn from UB, because this campus is one of our brother campuses. Many of our lecturers at UNUD are UB alumni. So it cannot be denied if UB has become one of the most favorite campuses in Indonesia,” he said.
“We feel proud of FCS UB because there are many partnerships with well-known institutes. With this visit, hopefully, we can provide a new value for us, and I hope there is a follow up to the future such as joint seminars, joint research, and so on,” he continued.
The speech was also given by the Dean of FCS UB, Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, SE., DEA. “We hope for cooperation because to be better, we cannot stand alone, we should work together and move forward together,” he uttered.
The event was followed by a discussion between the Anthropology Study Program UNUD and the Anthropology Study Program FCS UB related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education collaboration plan, especially in the joint research field. (DT/MSH/PR FCS)
