The event began with an SOP Evaluation session guided by Anik Afifah, S.Sos., Head of Administration of FCS UB. She conveyed the importance of updating SOPs every year, along with changes in services, digitalization of processes, and work efficiency needs.

“SOP is the basis for providing quality services. So, each unit is expected to identify SOPs that need to be updated, deleted, or made new according to current needs,” she explained.

She also said that all SOP documents that have been updated will be collected through Google Drive and then reviewed and authorized by GJM through a post-Eid al-Fitr workshop.

The second session was the presentation of UB Work Culture, delivered by the Secretary of UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit, Dr. Mohammad Nuh, S.I.P., M.Si. In his presentation, he explained that the Rector Regulation No. 96 of 2023 has officially regulated the fundamental values of work culture within UB.

“This regulation consists of seven pages. It contains important points, ranging from the definition of work culture, the source of values, to the character that every UB person must have,” said Dr. Nuh.

He emphasized that this regulation is normative and must be implemented concretely by the entire UB academic community. The regulation also regulates the implementation and reporting mechanism of work culture implementation, including integration in the Integrity Zone program.

The last session was the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Integrity Zone Quarter I, with the topic of sharing the assessment results carried out by TPPTN, which was reviewed directly by Dr. Nuh.

He provided in-depth input related to the interim assessment results. He underlined areas that still need to be improved, both in terms of documentation, fulfillment of indicators, and implementation of concrete actions in the field.

The Dean of FCS UB, Hamamah, Ph.D., expressed her appreciation for all the participants’ participation. She hopes this activity can be an important milestone in maintaining the consistency of work culture, improving service quality, and strengthening FCS UB’s commitment to realizing a superior, clean, and internationally reputable faculty.

This activity is a strategic step for FIB UB in maintaining performance accountability, equalizing perceptions between work units, and increasing the effectiveness of SOPs as part of implementing sustainable bureaucratic reform. [dts/PR FCS]
