Ribboncutting by the Vice-Rector for Finance and Resource, Prof. Drs. Gugus Irianto, MSA., Ph.D., Ak.

A series of activities and events were held by the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS), Universitas Brawijaya (UB) on its 13th Anniversary, one of which was the inauguration of several facilities and infrastructure after renovation. The renovation of the infrastructure that was inaugurated included the Self-Access Center (SAC), FCS Building A 1st Floor (BPJ and Finance Section Room), Art Gallery, and GRL 2nd floor (Department of Arts and Cultural Anthropology), on Saturday (11/5/ 2022).

This event was held to coincide with the opening of the International Conference activities in the UBTV Hall, Rectorate Building. The event started with a speech by the Dean of FCS UB, Hamamah, Ph.D.

“With the completion of the several infrastructure renovations, it is hoped that each student will be able to maintain and use the facilities as well as possible to support teaching and learning activities, and increase creativity,” said Hamamah.

Vice Dean of General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, Nanang Endrayanto, M.Sc., added that this inaugural event was a form of gratitude for the 13th anniversary of FCS and as a form of FCS’s readiness in meeting the needs for infrastructure and achieving international accreditation quality.

The event was continued by cutting the ribbon by Vice-Rector for Finance and Human Resource, Prof. Drs. Gugus Irianto, MSA., Ph.D., Ak., as a symbol or sign that the FCS infrastructure renovation has been inaugurated.

After the ribbon-cutting, the leaders along with the guests inspected the location of the renovated infrastructures, starting from the SAC, then moving to the Art Gallery which is right next to the SAC, and other facilities. [dts/aaz/PR FCS]
