The Ministry of Advocacy and Student Welfare of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB), in collaboration with Commission I of the Student Representative Council (DPM) FCS UB held an Officials Greeting II event entitled “Harmony Point: Culture Friend Aspiration Dialogue,” on Monday (11/20/2023).

This event was the second time after the first one held on Monday (6/5/2023). Officials Greeting II was held at the Hall of Building B, attended by all levels of the FCS Officials, namely Hamamah, Ph.D. (Dean), Sahiruddin, M.A., PH.D. (Vice Dean for Academic Affairs), Nanang Endrayanto, M.Sc. (Vice Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources), and Dr. Aji Setyanto, S.S., M.LITT. (Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship), and all the FCS student representations from various study programmes and organizations.

This event aimed to create harmony in carrying out duties at FCS UB and to accommodate aspirations for FCS development.

In her speech, the Dean of FCS UB, Hamamah, Ph.D. said, “We, the officials, are happy to greet the FCS students who attended this activity, which is an opportunity to establish communication for better quality and improvement of FCS UB.”

“The presence of FCS students is significant in channeling aspirations for the exchange and collaborate ideas between students and officials. This event is a good opportunity to create synergy for further development. As a follow-up, if there are still things that are unfulfilled from the previous Officials Greeting,” she added.

During this event, FCS UB students actively voiced their aspirations. These aspirations flowed in three sessions of programme implementation. The first session focused on academic aspects, the second was related to finance and resources, and the third had raised issues related to student affairs, alumni, and entrepreneurship.
