The Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) once again received a visit from a company interested in working together in the professional field. This time, FCS UB welcomed PT Zhongtsing New Energy, a renewable energy company committed to developing environmentally friendly technology in Indonesia, on Friday (9/20/2024). This visit aims to strengthen cooperation, especially in developing Chinese Literature graduates, recruitment, and internship programs at the company.

The event, which took place in the 6th Floor Meeting Room of Building A FCS UB, was attended by representatives from both parties. PT Zhongtsing New Energy, Mr. Firman, and Mr. Barep from the Morowali site recruitment team and the Jakarta center were present, and Mr. Xie Xiongwei, HR Director of the Morowali site. Meanwhile, from FCS UB, Nanang Endrayanto, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, as well as the Head of the Chinese Literature Study Program, Widya Caterine Perdhani, S.Pd., M.Pd., Chinese Literature lecturer, Yang Nadia Miranti, S.Hum., M.Pd., and the BPPM Unit of FCS UB were also present.

The activity was opened with remarks from representatives of each party, followed by the handover of souvenirs as a sign of appreciation for the opportunity to work together. A group photo was also taken as an official symbol of the start of this collaboration.

One of the important points in this visit was the discussion regarding the employment of Chinese Literature Study Program graduates and the potential for internships at PT Zhongtsing New Energy. This company provides opportunities for Chinese Literature PS students to be involved in renewable energy projects that are being developed, both at the center and at the Morowali site.

The event then continued with a presentation that provided a further overview of the renewable energy field, followed by an interactive discussion session that discussed more concrete steps of cooperation going forward.
