Department of Language Education FCS UB Mobility Staff Visit Universiti Malaya to Attend Book Review and Discuss MoU Development

The Staff Mobility group of the Department of Language Education, Faculty of Cultural Studies Universitas Brawijaya (FCS UB) consisting of Dr. Eti Setiawati, M.Pd., Dr. Dany Ardhian, M.Hum., Maulfi Syaiful Rizal, M.Pd., and Wiranto Aji Dewandono, M.Pd., met with Universiti Malaya to attend a book review and continued with a meeting between lecturers from various fields of study to share knowledge and discuss the continuation of cooperation on Wednesday (10/22/2024).

Through the book review event by Prof. Hashim Ismail held at Bilik Mesyuarat Kiambang, various knowledge about literary criticism was obtained, including comparing with conditions in Indonesia.

After the book review, the Department of Language Education FCS UB Staff Mobility group continued to meet with the Dean of the Malay Studies Academy, Universiti Malaya, accompanied by Prof. Emeritus Mokhtar, to discuss the continuation of the MoU between APM UM and FCS UB, plans for future activities, the key performance index system, the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and various other academic issues.

At the meeting, it was obtained that the collaboration between FCS UB and APM UM is entering the MoU revision phase and will be processed as soon as possible to issue an MoA containing details of the activities to be carried out. It was also mentioned about the 3 in 1 lecture where Prof. Mokhtar will be invited directly to UB on Friday (11/29/2024) after previously giving lectures online.
