Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a Tasyakuran on Tuesday (8/31/2021). The event was carried out in the framework of the 12th Anniversary of FCS UB and the 76th Indonesian Independence Day commemoration. The event was held offline in the Hall of Building A FCS UB and online through the Zoom Meeting platform. The guests who attended were required to obey the COVID-19 health protocol.
The event was opened by Jamila Wijayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the host, at 1 p.m. followed by remarks from the dean of FCS UB, Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, SE., DEA.
At this time, Agus Suman recollected his four-year period as the dean of FCS UB. He expressed his hope for FCS UB to support each other and maintain mutual harmony so that FCS UB can become one of the best faculties. After the dean’s remarks, the event continued with a prayer led by Agus Budi Cahyono, S.S., M.Lt.
The next session was the announcements of FCS UB’s achievements that were received at the UB GIRAFFE Award 2021 as the 1st place in the category of Number of HKI per lecturer and the 2nd place in the category of SISTER Input Percentage and Lecturers with NIDN/NIDK Percentage. Furthermore, FCS UB also received an award for Outstanding Educators and Educational Personnel of UB 2021, including the 3rd winner for Outstanding Educators in the Social Humanities category on behalf Dr. Eti Setiawati, 3rd winner of Outstanding Financial Education Personnel on behalf Yulanda Tri Suhartiningsih, S.A.B., and 3rd winner for Outstanding Librarian Education Personnel on behalf Rahayu Prastiwi, A.Md.
The outstanding personnel of FCS UB 2021 was also announced. The staffs who received the award were Mega Indah Rahmawati, S.S., Diah Titisari, S.S., Fandik Dwi Kristanto Pamilih, S.P., Djarot Sulistyo Wibisono, A.Md., Imam Subakri, S.Kom, Adhi Novariawan, S.Pd., Supandri, and Aloysius Pranawa.
At the end of the event, the cutting and handing over of the tumpeng (coned rice) was carried out by the structural representatives of FCS UB. The event ended with a closing by Jamila and congratulatory messages from the online participants. [BRN/DTS MSH/PR FCS]
