The Ministry of Social and Environmental Affairs of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Universitas Brawijaya (BEM FCS UB), officially launched the continuation of the work program entitled “Trasheroes” with the theme “Small Acts, Big Impact” on Wednesday (5/7/2025). This program aims to raise student awareness of the importance of responsible plastic waste management and reduce the use of single-use plastics in everyday life.

The event was lively, opened by the MC from the Trasheroes committee, followed by remarks from the Chief Executive, Nasirudin Muklis, who conveyed the background of the activity.

“This activity is a form of concern for the campus environment that we love. Through Trasheroes, we want to invite students to become campus cleanliness heroes. Not only collecting waste, but raising awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment,” said Nasirudin.

The second speech was delivered by the Vice President of BEM FCS UB 2025, Naila Yahyun Fadhilah, who hopes that this activity will not only have an ecological impact but also provide direct benefits for students through the Tebu scholarship program, which is integrated with environmental social action.
