FIB UB Sambut 33 Mahasiswa PMM 4 dan PMM Konsorsium FIB Se-IndonesiaThe Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) is one of the programmes under Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). There are two types of PMM activities: PMM 4, organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the PMM Consortium of Deans of FCS (Faculty of Cultural Studies) across Indonesia, which aims to provide opportunities for students to study at other universities as exchange students.

The Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) welcomed PMM 4 and PMM Consortium of Deans of FCS students from across Indonesia on Wednesday (28/02/2024). The event was held in the Hall of FCS Building B and was attended by Hamamah, Ph.D., Dean of FCS UB, accompanied by Nanang Endrayanto, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, and Dr. Aji Setyanto, S.S., M.Litt., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship.

The event commenced with a speech by the Dean of FCS UB, who introduced the faculty staff and expressed her hopes that the PMM students would benefit from their time at FCS UB.

“Hopefully, the activities you engage in at FCS will be enriching, broadening your insights, fostering brotherhood, and enhancing collaboration across Indonesia,” she said.

The next activity was a photo session, followed by a presentation about student affairs at FCS UB. This session was led by Ahmad Royyan and Angelica Ferline, the President and Vice President of the Student Executive Board at FCS UB. They outlined various student activities at FCS UB, aiming to generate interest and enthusiasm among PMM students to study comfortably at FCS UB.

The final event was an academic session delivered by Imam Subakri, S.Kom., Head of the Subdivision of Academic, Student Affairs, Alumni, Cooperation, and Entrepreneurship.
